TC16 will be an interdisciplinary guide for scientists working in quantum, neuromorphic and unconventional computing envisioning how nanotechnology will impact their development. A challenge will be bringing researchers of the three different communities to create a common language, with the aim to transfer solutions and exchange idea among the communities.

Work as the associate of the vice president and lab director of the IBM Research - Almaden, with the planning and execution of strategy, operations, finance, and business. Increase overall effectiveness of the Almaden Research Labs by ensuring that global Research strategies are fulfilled and key operational goals are met. Work closely with Lab Director and the senior leadership team across Cognitive computing, Science & Solution and Computing as a Service areas to ensure technical contributions are maximized through the phases of strategy development.

Leader of global patent licensing and assignment Engineering team. Expertise in analysis of semiconductor, hardware, systems patents, proficiency with analysis tools and methods. Good with building claim charts, analyzing file histories, and finding prior art. Collaborate with IP legal counterparts on risk analysis and damages assessment. Come up with new monetization models for specific patent portfolios. Thrives in a constant learning environment that brings fresh challenges outside of comfort zone.
