Director for Business Development Grew the on demand on YT by 65% within a year. Launched a channel in Bahasa for Indonesia(Nov 2021) and Russia in Jan 2023. Opened Africa as a new market for the group on 3 telcos.

 Managed all aspects of the linear broadcasting business outside India including global film distribution, international adsales, program sales, film production and Sports.Set up 3 Sports leagues of Zee Bangla Football League, Zee North East Football League and Zee Maharashtra Kusti Dangal. Led local consumer business in Indonesia, Philippines, Thailand, Middle East, Africa, Russia, Germany and Latin America. Managed OTT businesses in Europe and Canada.

 Started a Media Rep business for Zee to sell 3rd party channels. Started a radio station in UAE in Jan 2017 “big FM 106.2” that became no. 1 on ratings within 5 months of launch. Launched a pay TV product “Zee World” for the African audience. Launched “Zindagi” a pay TV product in India with content from Pakistan. Led sports business in Pakistan in addition to the company portfolio in MENA - 2014 Opened up a new market in football by achieving $1.5 mil in adsales on FIFA World Cup; traditionally only a cricket market - 2015. Turned around Zee Aflam to become profitable and a market leader; grew Zee Alwan to be among the top 25 Arabic TV channels. Negotiated a $1 mil advertising deal on “Zee Aflam” in the 1st year of launch - 2009 Launched “Zee Alwan” in Sep 2012. Reduced operating expenses by 28% to grow profitability by 93%.

 Delivered 4 profitable P&Ls including 2 local products.  Led viewership of Zee Variasi in the top 5 channels in Malaysia. Spearheaded Zee’s entry into China for landing rights.

 Drove 300% growth on program sales and 48% increase in profits. Launched a Bahasa language pay TV channel “Zee Variasi” for viewers in Malaysia, Indonesia & Brunei. Profitable at the start. Negotiated the single largest advertising deal with an international client for India Network channels of Zee. Pioneered affiliate deals to tap new distribution platforms and methods of alternative revenue like content distribution over IPTV.
