I am a highly experienced Business Advisor and Software Automation Consultant, with more than twenty seven years’ experience gained in industrial automation and over twenty years as CEO of 2M: a company I established as a specialist platform for quality technical support services: helping make commercial ambitions a practical reality. As you might expect, I have strong analytical and leadership skills, combined with in depth understanding of business accounting methods: innovating performance systems that are capable of disrupting entrenched thinking. I am also an Executive MBA from the Quantic School of Business and Technology in Washington DC (2020).I helped found 2M Automation in 2003: working as CEO and overseeing significant growth in annual revenues from £100,000 in year one to £1.8 Million by 2019.In terms of Innovation and Technical Delivery, I have designed and developed high quality software and control systems for a wide variety of sectoral clients, including Energy, Oil and Gas, Automotive, Pharmaceutical and FMCG: always to the highest professional standards. For example, as Lead Engineer at 2M, I designed and developed second generation Field Service Cladding Machinery: working in close collaboration with Sulzer, experts in the field, to address issues of sub optimal performance in harsh environments. Sulzer have since purchased over 100 of the new units.I also played an integral part in software specification, design and installation of a twenty servo axes control system on behalf of Polarseal (with 2M); and as Engineering Manager with CR Solutions from 2001 to 2003, I managed multiple complex projects involving software design and large-scale commissioning of automation equipment (specialising in motion control applications).As consultant for (and shareholder in) Carmichael Mobile Bottling: I designed a software and electrical control system for a full bottling line, capable of fitting inside a thirty foot container: providing in house design functionality meant the line could be successfully completed for less than £500,000.I believe strongly in collaborative engagement: working closely with clients and external experts to deliver effective solutions for even the most complex problems.To find out more contact me on mulemba@2m-automation.co.uk or send me an InMail.
