• Responsible for 4,35,000 Sq. feet manufacturing facility and 2, 25,000 Sq. feet Warehouse facility with 1750+ Employees.• Developed Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) Manual for The Manipal Group.• Producing annual EHS plan prior to start of year.• Implementation & Random Inspection of systems like - Management of change (MOC), LOTO & Work Permit.• Increasing employee moral by organizing Quarterly Work safety committee (WSC) meeting) at plants, Monthly System Implementation committee (SIC) meeting• Environment: Waste Management (Hazardous waste/E waste) for manufacturing site, Exposure assessment.• Environmental Monitoring tests on Air, Water, Noise, Stack & Illumination.• Compliance Report to SPCB as per conditions of Consent letters both for Water & Air granted by them.• Co-ordinate with External Agencies (Competent person) for Carrying out Testing & Inspection of LPG bullet tank, Boilers, overhead Cranes, Pressure Vessels, Compressors, lifting Machines & lifting tackles.• Conducting Meetings, Audits & Trainings as per the factories rules and request of internal departments.• External Audits – ISO (14001:2015- EMS), OSHAS, BRC – IOP, FSC & Customer audits.• Accident, near miss Investigation: DuPont steps, 5 Why techniques and implementing the control measures.• Coordinated & conducted EHS training for All employees.• Renewal of licenses for LPG bullet tanks from Indian explosive rules, Boilers as per Indian boilers act.• Internal (Monthly) and external (Quarterly) inspection of Firefighting equipment’s & Ambulance etc.• Ensuring the Smooth operation of STP & ETP as per the State pollution control board recommendations.• Conducting Mock drills &Evacuation drills as per the requirement in presence of District crisis group.• Producing yearly Environmental statement to state PCB &Acknowledge the same.• Celebration of National safety week, Environment day, Road safety day and conducting various competitions to create safety awareness.
