Actively involved in global teams collaborating to implement top-notch EHS programs at Intel.Moreover, responsible for reviewing EHS regulations, developing regulatory compliance.

Karnataka, India

• Responsible for overseeing the India EHS operations of a manufacturing facility spanning over 30+ acres and employing a workforce of 1900+ employees across 2 plants & R &D facilities.Key responsibilities:
• Developing and implementing the Company and Department Safety Environment Hoshin (Policy) to align with Toyota's 2030 vision.
• Participating in and presenting Hoshin and Key Performance Indicator (KPI) progress at global meetings held every two months in different countries.
• Planning the Safety Environment budget for the upcoming year, as well as controlling the budget and implementing cost-saving activities and Kaizen initiatives.
• Conducting monthly department-wise shop floor evaluations using a prepared checklist and presenting the findings during the Monthly Safety Environment meeting.
• Providing induction safety training to new employees through the Safety Dojo program.

India

• Responsible for 4,35,000 Sq. feet manufacturing facility and 2, 25,000 Sq. feet Warehouse facility with 1750+ Employees.
• Developed Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) Manual for The Manipal Group.
• Producing annual EHS plan prior to start of year.
• Implementation & Random Inspection of systems like - Management of change (MOC), LOTO & Work Permit.
• Increasing employee moral by organizing Quarterly Work safety committee (WSC) meeting) at plants, Monthly System Implementation committee (SIC) meeting
• Environment: Waste Management (Hazardous waste/E waste) for manufacturing site, Exposure assessment.

Jamnagar Area, India

• Regularly conducting Plant safety inspections/ checklists/ Safety walks/ Audits.
• To ensure good housekeeping in Plant area, Right quality of PPE being supplied and USED.
• Reporting unsafe conditions/acts of Workers. Cordon off Dangerous places with a proper fence and provide visible and appropriate WARNING SIGNS.
• Handling highly hazardous chemical products carefully and successfully.
• Doing Initial Gas Testing for a Confined Space Entry and Supervising it.
• Safety in Handling and Storage of Hazardous Chemicals and Catalysts.
