I am Head of Biopharma and Food at IDA Ireland and a member of IDA’s Management and |Finance and Compliance Committees. I have global responsibility for IDA’s Biopharma business leading the development and execution of departmental strategies across the sector including the attraction of new investors to Ireland and the strategic management of IDA’s existing Biopharma and Food clients to ensure that they continue to thrive in Ireland. I also work to ensure that the broader governmental ecosystem supports the growth of the sector. I represent IDA on the Board of the National Institute of Bioprocessing Research and Training (NIBRT) and the Governance Committee of SSPC. I am also on the Pharmaceutical Strategy Working Group (PSWG) set up by the Minister of Health.Previous roles in IDA include leading the Emerging Technologies team focussed on attracting high growth technology companies to Ireland and Director of IDA Ireland’s operations on the West Coast of the US. Prior to joining I worked with the Irish Trade Board in Dublin and Prague and also worked for 10 years in the private sector, in several marketing and economic development roles. I hold an MBA in International Business from the University of Ulster and a Batchelor of Commerce Degree, a Master’s in Marketing Practice and a Professional Diploma in Corporate Governance from University College Dublin.
