As Knowledge Management & Digital Communications Consultant I was responsible for the design and implementation of project and knowledge management systems, the product management of the Addventure-portal (based on Microsoft SharePoint) for both internal and external stakeholders as well as for delivering strategic support on the online marketing activities of KplusV. During my time at KplusV there was a lot of freedom to transform the digital platforms and communication practices in an attempt to match the otherwise innovative identity of the organization. Therefore, I was able to contribute to both the IT developments within the organization and the marketing and communication activities, as well as different areas in between. In the later years of my time with KplusV I was also responsible for the consulting and supporting of its customers on their choice for the Addventure-portal, which is a product based on Microsoft SharePoint aimed at facilitating the funnel and dossier management needs of innovation platforms and investment funds. ABOUT KPLUSVKplusV is a pragmatic and hands on consultancy firm with a wide variety of services for both the private and public sector. At the core is the stimulation of innovation, entrepreneurship and a sustainable economy. They do this with 60+ colleagues from their offices in Arnhem, Amsterdam and Rotterdam.

During my time with the TV-programme Nieuwsuur (formerly Nova) of the NTR, I was responsible for the development of a social media strategy, its implementation and the subsequent training of the editors and reporters. I started out as a graduate intern with an extensive research project, focused on the evolution and role of social and new media in journalism. The focus of this project was on creating an approach that Nieuwsuur could use to fulfill its journalistic purpose using these new media as well as use them to enrich its existing daily TV programme with additional content or interaction. After the successful presentation of my research, I spent the next nine months working on the implementation of this approach, which has formed the foundation of the online activities of Nieuwsuur and its editors and reporters. ABOUT NIEUWSUURNieuwsuur is an independent and impartial current affairs section of the public broadcast corporations NTR and NOS.
