Information Technology Support Engineer
Current• Responsible for restoration of normal IT service operations within agreed service levels and business priorities and minimize the adverse impact on business operations for Emirates Group and External Clients.• Analyzing reported incidents in Service – Now and provide solutions to the users enabling them to resume their work with minimum disruption as per agreed SLO.• Supervision of End of Life project in Emirates Engineering Center resulting in successful upgrade and deployment of 100 workstations.• Coordinate unresolved / recurring faults and communicate with other IT service providers (internal & external, e.g. Emirates Facilities and Dubai Airports).• Responsible to carry out preventive maintenance for Bio-Metrics devices, Critical equipment of NCC (Network Control Center) such as Weather PCs and BARCO Screen Lamps, BMK Wi-Fi kiosks PCs in Aircraft Hangars, Heavy duty printers HP9040, Conference room PCs and Telephones devices and Hub Rooms.• Responsible for smooth operations at Check-in and Boarding gates at the Dubai Airport by ensuring that the vMUSE (Multi-user System environment), Dmacs (Dynamics Multiple Access Check in System), AS Connect (Airport System Connect) application, Vidtronix Boarding Pass and Bag Tag Printers are up and running.• Responsible to maintain sufficient devices in IT buffer to support Airport Operations in case of faults, Moves, Adds, change requests and emergency situations.• Carry out network infrastructure installation and any other requested services as per procedure provided by the tech teams, including Link Lines from service provider, WAN links to hosts, backup ISDN lines & UPS systems.• Identifying recurring problem areas and to articulate trends for root cause analysis to liaise with problem management to give a more permanent problem resolution.• Adhere to the audit & finance regulations related with asset management using the company provided processes and systems.
