My core responsibility is to detect breaches of the Listing Requirements (“LR”), corporate abuses, irregular transactions or malpractices by Listed Issuers, and take the appropriate preventive or remedial actions in a timely manner to maintain an orderly and fair market. This includes detecting various irregularities, especially financial irregularities via review of financial information of the listed issuers as well peer comparison, market analysis, and corroborating evidence obtained from various stakeholders, including directors, management and external auditors. During my tenure in Bursa, I participated in certain high profile cases involving possible dissipation of company assets via issuance of shares, issuance of misleading financial statements and delay in announcing of triggering of PN17 status.

In TS, my work area of expertise is in financial due diligence (“FDD”) for merger and acquisition exercises, both for the buyer and seller. In the course of my work, I had the opportunity to conduct in depth analysis on financial information of potential target companies, for acquisition and disposal. My experience in FDD inlcudes both local and international clients, on target companies in various industries, including oil and gas, logistics, operating of retirement village and aged care facilities and manufacturing.

I joined KPMG as an audit assistant in January 2005 and was promoted to Audit Senior within 3 years. During my tenure in KPMG, participated in audit assignments in various industries, particularly in insurance, retailing and manufacturing. Through the experience I acquired during my audit years, i have developed analytical and critical thinking skills, in addition to learning the importance of following instructions diligently.
