I worked as a part-time store colleague whilst attending university to put me in an environment where I was constantly improving my communication skills and building the confidence to trust my judgment when recommending products. On a day-to-day basis, I was approached by customers who require high-level service and advice making sure that the knowledge I'd attained during my training remains up to standards. This required me to regularly update my training and study upcoming modules to be able to recommend new products. As well as helping customers, I was often tasked with assisting the marketing department film and edit videos to teach employers how to use brand-new software.

During my time working as a content manager, many of my tasks revolved around communication such as answering upcoming emails regarding any events, collaborations and appearances. However, I'd spend a lot of my time constantly brainstorming creative ideas to film and change the flow of videos in accordance with current marketing trends. Often, I'd arrange meetings between other content creators to provide crossover videos of the audience members as a way to push engagement and broaden the type of audience they're reaching. Constantly writing emails and answering phone calls require me to have exceptional written as well as verbal communication skills. Keeping everything organised and ensuring that my clients' calendar is constantly up to date with future events would also fall under some of the tasks I did for them.
