Provides oversight to RSC Africa Case Processing Assistants when assigned to special projects, including planning how to tackle the project, identifying reporting parameters and completing quality checks on the work done during the project.Assists in conducting all new hire training and ensures on-boarding targets and objectives are met.Serves as the primary point of contact for the CWS/RSC Africa Unit mailboxes and works with other units in Case Processing and RSC Africa to ensure that case information received via these mailboxes is properly updated to the cases.Works on high level expedite cases, as necessary, including updating medical information, scanning case documents and attaching these into WRAPS and preparing travel packets.Completes all tasks related to refugee case processing as assigned by the unit Supervisor, ensuring adherence to RSC Standard Operating Procedures.Conducts regular quality checks of the Case Processing Assistants' work to ensure that cases are consistently and correctly updated, both electronically and in the physical file.Consults with the unit supervisor, In- or Out- Processing Manager, Case Processing Coordinator and Deputy Director for Operations on difficult cases in accordance with established policies and procedures.Maintains a thorough knowledge of and ensures compliance with RSC Security and IT procedures at all times.Assists in the development of Case Processing training procedures and modules as well as assisting in their implementation as required.
