Created Financial Literacy Resources on the APL website by designing a course to educate teens about finance; managing money, taxes, and investing.

Immersed in the Somali Health Ministry, I set out on a mission to assess the quality of health facilities in Somaliland's cities and villages. My responsibilities included performing extensive studies to identify major deficiencies in public health infrastructure. (June,July 2019 & June, July 2022)I put light on the stark reality by writing extensive reports: on average, only two public health facilities existed per city, with virtually none in rural. This discovery served as the foundation for data-driven decisions, opening the path for major infrastructure enhancements.Using my unique perspective as a Somali-American, I made realistic proposals to improve health-care institutions. These guidelines are based on international best practices, and they incorporate creative ideas into the roadmap for a healthy future.

Spearheaded and successfully completed innovative projects during my internship at the City of Austin, gaining practical experience in a corporate office environment.Developed a strong understanding of corporate life through hands-on involvement in diverse tasks and projects, enhancing my professional growth and adaptability.

After being in Austin Youth Council as a general member since 2018, I got elected to be a District 1 Elected Member collaborating with Austin City Council Member Natasha Harper Madison. There, I played a key role in the passage of an amendment that marked the establishment of the Austin Youth Council's inaugural homelessness committee.Harnessing my data analysis and research skills, I contributed substantively to the amendment, ensuring that the committee's formation was not just a procedural step but a well-informed response to critical homelessness issues in the community.

Pioneered the mission to to incorporate East Austin residents to TedXYouth Event as the event previously lacked diversity from that area of Austin. Having gone to a school located in East Austin, I had not even known this event existed. I recruited for East Austin high school and middle schoolers to come to the annual TedXYouth event.
