About Munaf Mojib Chowdhury

Professionally, I like to identify myself as glocal expert driving data-driven digital marketing & digital transformation of marketing & business functions. Personally, I’m a self-trained positive thinker who loves to find solutions to every kind of problems. Work fills up a big part of my life. I'm very passionate about my work, highly driven by the hunger to learn and work in situations where the odds may not always be where I want them to be. But that's okay, challenge accepted! 

I’ve worked in several roles over the last decade in internet-enabled businesses, digital marketing communication and advertising industries. At my current role, I'm leading the Bangladesh market for Httpool, an Aleph group company. Previously, I was in charge of driving revenue for ADA in Bangladesh with ADA's data and AI driven products and marketing services and also working with the Country Director to help drive the entire revenue targets for the year. My last two stints were in the capacity of business head at Asiatic JWT (A JWT Affiliate in Bangladesh) and at AdPlay Technologies (an AdTech startup). During my time in these companies, I've worked for some of the biggest clients in the industry including Nestle, Marico, Banglalink and many more. Prior to that I worked in business development, category management and brand management at ekhanei.com (a Schibsted-Naspers-Telenor JV). There I was in-charge of one major business vertical and partnerships. I have also worked in marcom at QUBEE (an Augere Holding company) where my major role was to keep the brand alive with limited resources and find ways to take it forward. I have also worked in a couple of advertising agencies with extensive work experience in BTL and strategic planning. Prior to all these, I ran a startup which failed financially but successfully taught me a lot of practical life lessons.
As a person, I'm highly positive, a keen observer and a quick learner. These help me to quickly adapt in most situation. People who know me would readily tell you that I'm a very calm and cool headed person. I have very high ethical standards and am strongly driven by high quality work. I constantly set goals for myself and methodically work towards reaching them. I live in Dhaka with my wife and our two little boys.
