Felix Sención is the CEO and Founder of The Mundial Group, a marketing media company specializing in multimedia publishing in the sports and entertainment industries. The Mundial Group publishes "Fútbol Mundial", "Béisbol Mundial", and "Fútbol Mundial USA".Mr. Sención is a marketing and advertising-sales professional with 14 years of experience, specializing in the urban and Hispanic marketplace. He has an extensive publishing background, including the development and launch of several targeted publications. Mr. Sención has been able to develop and grow "Fútbol Mundial" into the nation’s largest Spanish-language sports title, both in terms of circulation and revenue."Fútbol Mundial" is the first national Hispanic magazine title to cross over to the United States' general market via "Fútbol Mundial USA" (an English-language title). Mr. Sención has leveraged the success of "Fútbol Mundial" and launched "Béisbol Mundial" in 2005. Felix oversees the management and revenue growth of all the Mundial titles. He is personally responsible for establishing numerous advertiser relationships for the Mundial Group with Fortune 500 companies and their respective advertising agencies. Mr. Sención has developed strategic working partnerships with key organizations including Major League Soccer, SUM, CONCACAF, and Major League Baseball.Prior to founding the Mundial Group, Mr. Sención helped build the Multicultural Department at The New York Daily News, one of the first mass-market newspapers in the country with a division completely dedicated to the growing Latino, Black, and Caribbean markets in the United States.In 1998, Felix Sención received the Entrepreneur of the Year award from Hispanic Magazine for serving the needs of Hurricane George’s victims through his business contacts with sports and entertainment figures through the Juan Marichal Golf Classic fundraiser in NYC.
