    I lead the development on R&D for an avatar generation project at Kalon Couture. The project focused on delivering real life quality to the customers by generating a computer model by detecting the customer's face from a single face photo. I used OpenCV for face detection. The landmarks from the user's face were used to programmatically generate a 3D model of the user's face using Unity. I also used an AWS backend created in EC2, S3, Cloudfront and Lambda to shift the avatar generation to a cloud application. The 3D model was then displayed to the user in a web browser through three.js. The user was able to try-on multiple garments on the 3D model through a web interface.
