I graduated with a Master in Public Health (MPH) degree in Epidemiology at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center (OUHSC) in July 2023. As a student intern for my practicum project at the Center for Health Statistics at the Oklahoma State Department of Health (OSDH), I applied my SAS programming skills and epidemiology knowledge to analyze and report health data and trends on pediatric cancer survivors in Oklahoma. I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from the University of Oklahoma (OU), where I also worked as a teaching assistant for 10 months. During my graduate studies, I was a research assistant at OUHSC for four months, where I supported a project on physical activity and nutrition. I am passionate about public health and eager to learn from experienced professionals in the field. I am a certified in public health (CPH) candidate.
