Dr. Muneesh Kumar, retired as Professor in the Department of Financial Studies, University of Delhi. He has been formerly the Head, Department of Financial Studies and Dean, Faculty of Commerce and Business, University of Delhi. He is presently Advisor, International Relations, University of Delhi. He is Chancellor's Nominee to the Board of Management(Executive Council) of Krishna Kanta Handiqui State Open University, Assam. He is PHD from Delhi School of Economics, University of Delhi. Prof. Muneesh has authored 7 books and edited 3 books. Of these four books were published in USA and the one published by Pearson India is co-authored with French Professors. His books on “Integrated E-Business Models for Government Solutions” and “Trust and Technology in B2B E-Commerce” recently published by IGI Global, USA, have become important sources for issues in e-governance and B2B e-commerce. His book on Business Information Systems is one of the leading textbooks for management students.He has contributed more than 55 research papers of which 19 have been published in International journals of repute. He has been awarded the best paper prize by the Institute of Companies Secretaries of India for his paper on "Marketing of Financial Products on Internet". His earlier paper on Human Resource Accounting was also awarded a similar prize by The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. He is on the editorial boards of two international journals.He is on the Research Advisory Committees of several European Business Schools and has been associated with the curriculum development on a number of occasions. He has been a visiting research fellow at Maison de Sciences de Hommes, Paris for two terms. He has been a member of the ASSOCHAM’s National Commission on Capital Market. He has also been a member of the Expert Advisory Committee constituted by Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, Government of India for automation of more than 150,000 Post Offices in India. No wonder, he was conferred with ‘Distinguished Alumnus Award’ by his alma mater, Shri Ram College of Commerce.
