-Ensuring the integrity of Tower’s Pacific operational bank accounts and investments, including maintenance of bank accounts, signatories, etc.-Ensuring financial transactions are processed as efficiently and effectively as possible.-Progressive transition of all accounts payable function for the Pacific to the Pacific Finance team and work closely with the Oracle support team to implement the Oracle P2P process across Pacific.-Ensuring that all accounts payable functions for the Pacific have adequate controls and all payments to vendors and agents are adequately authorised/approved. This will include the review of the design of such controls and ensure these controls are operating effectively.-Support Tower’s data gathering and reporting requirements relating to carbon and climate change reporting.-Facilitate the Finance Operations team in providing support to the Accountants by performing key financial tasks. These tasks include items such as bank reconciliations, assisting with the maintenance of the asset registers, month-end support, returns such as VAT/GST/ Fire Service Levy etc. -Support in responding to requests from external and internal auditors, including addressing any control observations or weaknesses that are raised.-Manage the Finance Operations team’s activities and is a partner in the development of team members. -Reviews the current processes and makes attempts to remove complexities to make processes efficient and consistent.-Build constructive relationships with key stakeholders, for example, Country Managers, the wider Pacific operations team, banking partners, etc.-Other duties include supporting the Financial Controller as and when required, for example, by providing assistance to projects involving the Pacific subsidiaries
