Performed as research consultant in an evaluation of the USAID-funded Partnerships for Enhanced Engagement in Research (PEER) program in Colombia. PEER is a competitive awards program that invites scientists in developing countries to apply for funds to support research and capacity-building activities on topics of importance to USAID and conducted in partnership with U.S. Government (USG)-funded and selected private sector partners.

Designed pedagogical resources about peace culture directed at more than 150 peace volunteers participating in conflict transformation processes that involved government officials and civil society in Potosi department.

Conducted research about the socioeconomic context of children orphaned by intimate partner femicides occurred in Chuquisaca department. Elaborated policy recommendations that were used as input for a Bill debate.

Assessed the results of the Political Leadership School, a program directed at female leaders of social organizations seeking to participate in decision making scenarios.

Coordinated educational programs on peace and security issues, including three summer trainings in Italy, Bosnia and Herzegovina and the USA.Assisted in curriculum design, facilitated workshops, wrote budgets, outlined communication strategies, drafted financial reportes, and supervised seven staff.Developed partnerships with public institutions and private organizations.Wrote grant proposals and secured project funding (including a US$100,000 Rotary International Global Grant).

Implemented and monitored three child participation strategies established by the Public Policy for Children and Adolescents in Bogota.

Assisted in systematizing more than 160,000 proposals submitted by civil society to the peace process between the Government of Colombia and the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia (FARC) in Havana (Cuba).Wrote statistical and qualitative reports and other analytical documents requested by the High Commissioner for Peace Office to be used by Government advisors and delegation in Havana.

Analyzed documents and prepared reports for the Inter-American Committee against Terrorism.Planned in-country logistics for the National Technical Assistance Mission on Cybersecurity for Colombia.

Provided the Analysis Unit with research material about security issues to enhance situational awareness among United Nations senior staff members in Colombia.Helped prepare analytical documents, reports, risk assessments and presentations.
