MercadoMaritimo.com.br (translation: Maritime Industry) is a news platform for shipping industry professionals. Founder and developer of VagasEmbarcado.com, a recruitment platform for the maritime industry.VagasEmbarcado is a complete Application Tracking System and job board for the shipping industry in Brazil.The software has several features, including:Recruiter interface- Resumes database- Manage job postings- Auto share to LinkedIn pages and profiles connected to the recruitment team- Manage candidates- Manage the interview process- Request and store candidates documents and certificatesEnd user interface- User fills out a profile and insert all certificates and credentials- Job board browsing - Automatic filtering of matching openings- Easy apply for a job - if job was not opened using the recruiter portal, all documents and certificates are sent to the recruiter, including a PDF version of the resume stored in the database. - System keeps track of certificates expiration datesI built the system from the ground up as a side project while I was in maritime school and was responsible for every aspect of it. At its height, the portal had more than 30K registered users and has attracted almost 100K followers on social media.The platform was built using PHP and MySQL for the backend and HTML/CSS/jQueey with Bootstrap for the front end.
