About Munir Hashemi, Mppa

I completed a Master’s Degree in Public Policy and Administration at Ryerson University in October 2015. This rigorous program gave me an excellent grounding in public policy analysis and development, and public administration. My advanced academic knowledge and decade-long work experience in various roles in different organizations have given me strength to take up any challenge. As part of my degree, I wrote a 53-page Major Research Paper on Canada’s changing immigration policies and programs and their impacts on labour market. In this paper, I analyzed the pros and cons of the policies and programs, and evaluated the impacts and contributions of economic immigrants on the labour market. I also have a Certificate in Refugee & Migration Studies from York University.My background in public policy, immigration, research and communication combined with practical experience in the government and non-profit sector has equipped me with exceptional policy and media analysis, research and office administration skills.
