The company distributes electricity to almost 2.7 mn consumers (~45% of Delhi) while providing World class customer services with having reduced cumulative AT&C losses to <8% (from ~51% at takeover time in year 2002). Recently, he has been appreciated by Central Electricity Authority (CEA) for his active contribution regarding Power Distribution Perspective Plan (2020-21) as part of National Electricity Policy (NEP) formulation. Additionally, he is also actively associated with working group of Association of Power Producers (APP) as Member Distribution & Honorary faculty at National Power Training Institute (NPTI is an autonomous body under Union Ministry of Power, Govt. of India). He has also authored a research paper on "Future Fuels" which is well acknowledged at a global Energy Summit organized by World Energy Council (WEC) at Istanbul (Turkey) during October 2016. Further leaving no stone un-turned, he regularly engages at prominent industry level forums such as CII as an active Member in National Committee on Power (2017-18) for Regulatory Reforms & Demand Enhancement to deliver critical industry perspectives. In addition, he is also a Certified Trainer from DALE CARNEGIE.Munish is a collaborative leader who is always on the learning curve.
