CurrentCommunication management• Developing communication plans and implementing strategies;• Assessing the communications capacity of the regional offices in Africa and making recommendations;• Ensuring that staff members have the requisite communication skills and effectively use all available communications tools;• Enhancing effective communication with all stakeholders;• Working hand in hand with relevant departments to ensure efficient implementation of communication programmes;• Developing and producing communication products for use across all platforms;• Carrying out relevant communication training among ITF regional staff members and affiliates;• Assisting in fringe interpretation and/or translation during meetings, telephone and video conferencing;• Responding to all regional communication-related queries;• Maintaining a database of communication service providers;• Representing ITF Africa regional office in approved forums.Information management• Managing ICT agreements (Saas and SLA);• Ensuring strict compliance with ICT standards and internal policies;• Maintaining a reliable and secure information system;• Auditing systems to ensure workflow and security standards are in place, and evaluating the impact of changes; • Constantly reviewing performance of all ICT equipment and services, and recommending necessary changes;• Providing technical support to users;• Managing all electronic equipment during meeting sessions (seminars, workshops and conferences);• Developing and implementing ICT training programmes;• Monitoring and evaluating external language service provision for English, French and Portuguese translation and interpretation.Programme management• Managing the Africa youth programme:• Planning and implementing youth activities;• Promoting youth programs.
