As the orginisation started growing my role shifted from business development to overseeing, planning and strategising the marketing activates. Initiating marketing direction, designing an annual marketing plan, driving traffic to the website, increasing interactions over social media were some of my new responsibilities. Sticking to the assigned budgetary constraints was tricky.

As a business development manager, I was required to periodically analysis the market trends with an aim to identify unexploited or new markets for the organisation's products and services. Which required assigning duties and setting targets for the team, and also performing periodic performance evaluations. Also working with the team to ensure excellent customer service to the clients in order to build lasting customer relationships. Updating brand identity standards and ensuring consistent execution across the organisation was amongst the most challenging task.

I was working here while pursuing my MBA degree. This was a part time job. I was expected to estimate weekly food consumption, placing supplier orders and schedule delivery of food and beverages, prepare staff roster on a daily basis. I was also required to adhere to the quality and safety standards, maintain books of accounts, and develop marketing strategies such as promotional events and discount schemes.

This was my part-time job in my family business while pursuing my Bachelor degree. The role involved documenting financial transaction, managing day-to-day administration, dealing directly with customers, responding promptly to their inquiries, helping customers make a selection by offering suggestion and opinion, managing customer accounts, follow up on customer interaction.
