Underwent a 12-week documentary production training led by Columbia University. There were a total of 19 international groups, and each group produced a short documentary on their own, under the guidance of a mentor. Our mentor, instructor and executive producer from BRAC University was Dina Hossain, an acclaimed filmmaker from Bangladesh. I was the co-producer and co-researcher of our documentary titled “A Story that Eye Witnessed”. My responsibilities include, - Prepare and maintain a schedule (including shooting timeline) to ensure we can finish filming and editing on time - Prepare a budget for proper utilisation of the fund provided by OSUN - Maintain proper documentations such as consent forms from the artists, bills and receipts, list o any copyright material used, etc. - Arrange group meetings to ensure everyone's on track and the work goes smoothly - Transcribe the footages in our native language - Make subtitles - Oversee the audio quality and music selection - Fact checking data used in the documentary - Co-scriptwriter - Updating our mentors, and executive producer, about our progress - Making presentations in PowerPoint to be shown in the class
