Karnataka State Remote Sensing Applications Centre (KSRSAC) is an autonomous organization under the Department of Information Technology & Biotechnology and Science & Technology, Government of Karnataka. The Director, Karnataka State Remote Sensing Applications Centre is the head of the Centre. KSRSAC is the Nodal Agency for implementation of GIS and Remote Sensing (including Photogrammetry) for the State. Using GIS techniques for developing the digital database of natural resources and urban sprawl in the State.Role Summary:• Managed 150 nodes and 4 servers independently (Both at KSRSAC Bangalore unit, KSRSAC Mysore unit and at Dept. of IT & BT related offices). • Managing user accounts• Management of disk space Backups, archival and restoration of software• Installation, testing, troubleshooting & maintenance of network printers & hard copy generation• Network management• Installation and maintenance of hardware and software• Marinating Projectors, Laptops and Plotters.
