(2X600MW-Thermal Power Plant Construction)Position : Engineer-Tender Bidding.Department : Commercial (Tender Bidding).Period : August 2013 to December 2017.Responsibilities :  Thorough & in depth knowledge of contracts management. Prepare Tender enquiry packages, comprising of relevant documents, including Conditions of Contract, Pricing Document, Bill of Quantities, Schedule of Rates, Scope of Work and enclosures, including Specifications and Drawings, etc. Reviews bids, conduct negotiations & submitting the variations and rate analysis reports to the Commercial manager/Vice President with relevant back-up documents and administer the award of contracts and provision of feedback to bidders. Review and amend standard contract & commercial conditions / documents, as required. Writing & review of NDA’s (Non discloser agreement), MOU’s and various agreements. Responsible for interpreting and explaining of contracts & agreements conditions and their consequences. Follow-up Subcontractor’s Advance & Performance Bank Guarantees. Reviews Subcontractor’s monthly invoice and prepare Subcontractor’s Payment Certificates. Claim Settlement and Management- Handling claims from Subcontractors for Extension of Time, Compensation for delays, extra cost etc.. and preparing counter claim. Study & preparation of claims and contractual disputes based on contractual obligation scope of work and actual situations. Develop and prepare regular reports on the status of the contracts and present to the Commercial manager/Vice President.  Maintain file for each contracts which includes (original contract, all related correspondence, changes/deviations, amendments, payment.

Projects: Review PO/LOI with offer & register in post contract review checklist with DGM. Receive Drawings/Material list. Prepare preliminary material indent in ERP System and forwarding to engineering department for verification. Expedite with customer for free issue material in case the raw materials in customer scope. Follow up with purchase department regarding material procurement action. Co-ordinate with material planning, production, inspection & customer for technical clarification/ deviation, if any. Any other customer/third party inspection co-ordination. Project review with concerned Production, Inspection &Material dept., Preparing Project Status report in daily/weekly basis and submitting it for customers review. Preparing Shipping drawing (Container stuffing) for export projects. Accounting of free issue material to customer in case of free issue materials. Preparing Invoice, Shipping list & Delivery Challans. Dispatch & Payment follow-up.Estimation Receive Enquiry after registering in the Tender Receipt ledger. Analyze the drawings, data sheets & other technology specifications & confirm manufacturing capability. Prepare abstract of Materials & Estimate Cost. Estimation will be submitted to DGM & FD-Marketing. Identify of deviations. Prepare Techno-Commercial offer and forwarding to customer. Following up with customer during tender opening regarding feasibility of getting orders. If regret for quoting, forwarding the regret letter to customer as decided by FD-Marketing.Major Projects worked  M/s.
