Current‘MetLife India Insurance Company Limited’, Bangalore: Position: Senior Manager - IT Infrastructure Duration: Jan 2007 to till date. Job Responsibilities: IT Infrastructure Setup of New Branch Rollout which includes Team Work of Project Planning & Management, Vendor Management, Inter-Department co-ordination, Status updates to Management, IT Equipment Implementation & Service Support Management. IT Asset Manager, Responsible for Tracking and Maintaining of All India IT Assets ( about 15,000 plus ) during entire Life Cycle from Procurement till Disposal. Reporting to Management on Weekly Asset Status. Maintaining transactions as per Audit requirements. Data Centre Manager, Responsible for Infrastructure and Facilities function, 24x7, and ensuring highest Uptime of Equipments in coordination with Contractors Suggesting suitable Brand and Configuration for IT Infrastructure such as ; Data Link, Networking and other IT Equipments like Router, Switch, Multifunctional Device, Projector, EPABX, Server, Desktops etc. Ensure uptime of Business Critical IT Devices Viz. Router, Switch, Document Scanner, EPABX, LAN / WAN, etc. at all Branches, including Business Applications, Mailing, etc. Manage Centralized & Local IT Service Desk to resolve Incident / Procurement Tickets within SLA. Preparation of various management reports like Quantity of Incident Tickets, Response & Resolution Time, to get Summary & Efficiency of IT Support function. Manage IT Contractors for Support Agreement including SLA in coordination with Legal Department. Identify opportunities for cost reduction/efficiency improvement, to reduce Operational Expense without affecting Business Productivity.
