Assistant Vice President - Program Delivery
CurrentOverseeing effective delivery of all commercial programs (pharmaceutical & dietary ingredients) pertaining to Synthesis division through a team of delivery-managers & employing 3PM (Project, Program & Portfolio Management) methodologyThe scope & span of the role include;CONTRACT MANAGEMENT – Preparation, review (legal, business), negotiation and execution of commercial supply contracts; monitoring adherence to contractual obligations & responsibilities etc.DELIVERY MANAGEMENT - Effective tech-transfers; Capacity & production planning; Capacity utilization & optimization; Contingency planning for spikes & spurs in demand. Risk assessment of availability, costs; COGS optimization; effective resource planning, staffing; Identification, externalized manufacturing partner managementALLIANCE/ ACCOUNT MANAGEMENT - Evaluation of new program opportunities & portfolio inclusions, equipment-mapping & gap-analysis and strategy, costing, proposal submission. Monitoring potential business upsell/ cross-sell opportunities within the program clienteleQUALITY MANAGEMENT – Ensure quick & efficient handling of quality variances, consequent root-cause investigations & effective CAPA implementation. Proactive, preemptive discussions, negotiations with stakeholders on potential quality bottlenecks; Coordination of timely, effective responses to regulatory queriesCOST MANAGEMENT: Monitoring profitability of the programs; Impact evaluation of new regulatory demands leading to spec revisions & material forecast changes (upwards, downwards) on the budgeted costs etc.
