• Performing independent check of KYC information provided by front office. Verifying all aspects of Client Identification Program (CIP) & Fraud investigations in accordance with know your Customer (KYC) standards.• Identifying accurate risk rating for individual/ non individual accounts to highlight high risk jurisdictions, high risk businesses, politically exposed persons (PEPS) or relatives or close associates.Completing extensive due diligence investigations using public and private databases in accordance with Anti-Money Laundering (AML), BSA and other regulatory standards to assist business units and prevent operational and reputational risks.• Conducting transaction analysis and investigates alerts which has potential suspicious transactions.• Use public domain searches to understand the nature and purpose of the transactions of the alerts generated• Performing PEP, sanction and adverse media checks on client and related parties with the help of World Check, Lexis Nexis, Factiva and OFAC. • Summarizing the findings in a clear and concise manner and write reports with evidences in accordance with established procedures for escalating to compliance, if required.
