Job profile was to Sell Space in the three yearly Directories Dec 1997 - May 1998 Joined Newmont Overseas as Sales executive in 1997. I was able to achieve and surpass the targets set by the company in the very first sales canvass by bringing in new business revenue into the company. June 1998 - May 1999 Due to the excellent performance our management promoted me to the position of senior sales executive to handle existing clients for the three major directories. My job profile in that position was to increase the revenue base from the existing clients and to ensure their continued participation in our directories. I was reporting to Business Development Manager during this period. During this period I was also instrumental in introducing a new publication for catering to a niche market. I was consistently able to achieve and surpass my targets during this period even though the general business trend at the mirate was on a downswing.
