The ongoing liberalization of Turkey's energy market and competitive pricing for end-consumers enabled us to create the leading online marketplace, offering comprehensive end-to-end solutions for our suppliers.Our role extended far beyond that of a typical online marketplace. We took on the responsibility of managing every step of the customer acquisition and onboarding process, relieving our suppliers of the burdensome and labor-intensive tasks. From identifying and acquiring new customers to managing the entire administrative process, we handled everything. This included preparing, signing, and scanning all necessary paperwork, ensuring compliance with regulations, and making the process seamless for both the supplier and the consumer. By offering a fully integrated end-to-end outsourcing solution, we not only simplified operations for our suppliers but also guaranteed the best possible deals and pricing for end-consumers. This allowed our suppliers to focus on their core business, while we ensured a smooth and efficient customer experience.Currently serving on the Board of Directors.

The liberalization of Turkey's energy sector had just begun, and I recognized a unique opportunity. With a vision to create a software company specializing in solutions tailored for both the gas and electricity markets, I set out to develop innovative products for the evolving industry. In under five years, we became the leading software provider for the Turkish energy market.During this time, we also built Turkey's first over-the-counter (OTC) Energy Exchange & Trading Platform, specifically designed to meet the needs of the Turkish market.Ultimately, I successfully sold the company to a leading consultancy firm and completed my exit from the business.

Our mission was to offer high-quality VoIP solutions to end-consumers in the U.S., bringing VoIP services directly to mobile devices. We focused on making long-distance calling convenient and accessible, delivering exceptional call quality at highly competitive rates.In the challenging post-dot-com and telecom crash environment, securing funding for a telecom startup was an uphill battle. Despite the odds, through persistent efforts and numerous presentations across the country, we successfully raised $7.2 million.The project exceeded expectations. In just under 30 months, we reached over 30,000 users, surpassing our aggressive goals and ultimately leading to a successful exit.

We founded Verscom with the goal of providing IP-based voice termination services to businesses in the rapidly evolving telecom market, with a primary focus on the Middle East, Africa, and the Indian Subcontinent.As my first startup, I was proud to secure $500,000 in funding just before the telecom industry faced significant challenges. Bringing our vision to life was a rewarding experience, and I’m glad we pushed forward, as Verscom continues to thrive today under the name Verscom Carrier.In 2004, I sold my shares and exited the company, moving on to successfully establish IDT Services.
