Responsible for all trading and operations of oil products imported to PO Terminals; including loading, inspection, doping, discharge, nationalization, and marker activities. Direct involvement with companies such as refineries, trading companies, inspection companies, laboratories, customs supervisors; as well as internal departments such as finance, accounting, marketing, commercial & industrial sales, MIS, Shipping, and Paper Trading.

Petrol Ofisi International Oil Trading Ltd (POINT), the trading arm of PO Turkey, based in London, functioned for fuel imports for PO supply system as well as third party trading. Controlled a physical operations team and also finance group for the activities.Managed the company activities; which entail market research on refinery runs and assessment of availability of various oil products in the short and medium term predominantly in the Mediterranean region, and carried out analysis on arbitrage opportunities from other regions. Responsibilities also involved price risk management and utilizing tools such as futures and swaps.Market research on tanker shipping, charter party terms and negotiations, vetting of vessels for suitability into specific ports and demurrage calculations.

Responsible for the transportation of 5 Million Tons of fuels marketed by the company annually; from refineries to PO terminals via vessels and trucks. Managing the shipping group and land transport group of the company with chartering and operations activities.Coordinated the supply and logistics of approximately 1 Million Tons of fuels to Iraq after the 2nd Gulf War.Direct involvement in all tenders and trade involving ship or truck transportation.

Responsible for business development of the supply and logistics directorate, developing new business areas within the energy market, controlling capital and operational expenditures of all Petrol Ofisi Terminals. Lead the Logistics Team of the of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) project with Oracle for one year.

Responsible for determining retail and terminal prices of the oil products sold by the company, according to daily adjustments of the Turkish Fuel Pricing System.Responsible for planning, trading, and operations of oil products imported to PO Terminals.Taken an active role in the privatization processes of Petrol Ofisi A.S. (USD 1.2 billion) during 1998 – 2000 dealing with the company divisions, consultant companies and offerors; and also contributed to the Environmental Assessment Report of Petrol Ofisi A.S for this project.
