I am Murat Işık, also known by my stage and producer name, chillhead. My journey into music production, recording, and arrangement began in my childhood. In 2008, I established an amateur studio, marking the start of my extensive career as a producer, recorder, editor, designer, and mixer on numerous amateur and semi-professional projects.I took a hiatus from music production to focus on my academic education. In 2017, I made a fresh start as a professional music producer and sound designer. Since then, I have worked extensively in various roles, including mastering at many venues. My expertise includes creating arrangements and mixes for the advertising industry, particularly for hotels, as well as working with a variety of artists independently across a wide range of genres, including Hip-Hop, Rap, R&B, Ambient, Down Tempo, Chill Hop, Lofi, Chill Out, Reggae, Electro House, and Techno.In 2020, I launched my solo music career with my debut album, "Chillhead Tape No.01," a conceptual project featuring elements of Hip-Hop, Chill Hop, Lofi, Ambient, Trip Hop, Funk, and Trap.In 2023, I established a music label called OldSkoll, partnering with Dogan Music Company. Although our adventure lasted just one year, it was a significant step in my career. I managed every stage of the music project from production, recording, editing, and mixing, to specializing as a Dolby Atmos Mixer.Since 2019, I have been working at 1000 Volt Post Production as sound designer and mix engineer. I contribute to sound teams for feature films, original digital platform series, and Dolby Atmos music projects.
