Answer correspondence; collect, maintain, prioritize information; managing department procedures and telecommunications. Maintain department schedules; arranging meetings, classes, conferences. Organize department events including food ordering, reserving facilities, and decorations. Manage public relations with visitors in person or on the telephone; answering or referring inquiries, providing information and assistance regarding department functions. Ensure operation of equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements; calling for repairs; maintaining equipment inventories; evaluating new equipment and techniques, making recommendations for changes .Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks. Update and mainenance of departmental website. Process disbursement of Andrews Scholarship and Greater Texas Foundation scholarships to undergraduate and graduate students. Communicate with the Science/Math coordinators of surrounding school districts. Maintain log of services provided by AI to faculty, staff, students and teachers of surrounding ISD's. Assist in management of budgetsand funds handled by the Andrews Institute, ANSERS Institute and Center for Public Education.
Set up students, Faculty/Staff ID cards and ensure appropriate access is given. Monthly auditing and billing for each patron/account. Issue new/replacement ID cards and bill accordingly. Daily balancing of accounts and posting of charges as needed in PeopleSoft. Monthly audits of Add-on, laundry, vending, copier and bookstore charge accounts. Use CS Gold (CBord) card system to generate cards, billing and audits. Creation and printing of conference cards as well as adding/billing meal plans for needed conferences. Use of the Student Affairs component in the PeopleSoft system to generate reports and to create new patron accounts and verify patron information in the CS Gold card system.

Answer Onboard Sales Recorder Hotline, troubleshoot issues and refer issues to appropriate departments, and record subsequent actions taken to resolve report taken. Working as assistant in the configuration of PDA devices for use as an Onboard Sales Recorder. Track missing kits from aircrafts and report to test labs any problems encountered by Flight Attendants. Go on test flights to assist flight attendants as needed when introducing the Sales Recorder in-flight and upon return reporting results and observations. Posting of logs in eRoom, which acts as common drive for Project Management Team. Project Ended.
Texas Certified/Paraprofessional Certification. In charge of the management of the In-School-Suspension (ISS) classroom. Students were sent to In-School-Suspension as disciplinary action and were assigned tasks to be completed in the classroom in addition to their daily classroom workload. As the ISS teacher, I was responsible for these students, their daily behavior monitoring and performance during their suspension. On days were no student was referred to ISS, I substituted, as needed, for teachers in the school system. Additional duties included translating forms and letters for the school system as wells as during parent conferences as needed.
Simultaneous court interpreting during court proceedings and appointed court interpreter for attorneys in preparation for court appearances and trials. Visited local and county jails, as needed, with attorneys and prosecutors to translate depositions for non-English speaking defendants. Served as interpreter for court cases for CPS and during CPS visitation cases and translated documents as requested by the court.
