Thus, this was one of the key indicators that led to deliver a result of 3,7% saving in 2016, 7,4% in 2017 and 3,6% in 2018.

In charge of the entire process for the acquisition of imported inputs and equipment,from the commencement of the project to the implementation of the same, for the company´s7 industrial plants in Brazil, in addition to the hire of specialist international manpower, whennecessary, for start-up, maintenance and operations. Also in charge of the purchase oflarge-scale equipment for the Venezuela and Uruguay plants, and provide back up for thestrategic purchases of the Mexico and United States plants.Among my responsibilities was to quote sea and air freights with forwarders and interaction withbrokers during import and export process.Some of my most noteworthy functions included the purchase of precious and non-preciousmetal catalysts, resins, reagents, reactors, columns, tanks, heat exchangers, pumps andcompressors. In relation to the purchase of catalysts, I am also responsible for the acquisitionand control of the lease for the precious metal, in addition to the service involving therecovery of exhausted catalysts.

Recruited to develop items, projects and technologies on the internationalmarket. After a period of six months, the CEO assigned me to coordinate the activities andtargets of the purchasing team and to answer for the results of the purchasing and importdepartment.In charge of the entire process involving the acquisition of imported items, from closingpurchase orders to delivery of the material to the plant. For each new item imported I wasresponsible for conducting an audit at the supplier´s plant in order to monitor the productionchain and supply capacity of the same. During this period I travelled to Hong Kong, China andTaiwan to conduct audits, visit trade fairs and seek out innovative technologies on the market.Also involved in the development of new projects in conjunction with the engineeringdepartment, ensuring the same were commercially viable and developing the tools, molds anddevices for production.

Hired as an intern in the project purchasing department, where I rapidly came to the foreand within two months was appointed purchaser for PSA door latch and handle projects by theplatform project manager. After the internship period I was assigned to the position on a fulltimebasis and worked as PTM for projects involving PSA, Renault, Honda, Toyota and otherglobal-scale automakers.Was directly involved in the projects from providing the customer with an estimate, on thedomestic and international market, to the beginning of production, constantly striving to meetpredefined price targets and deadlines and to ensure reduced production costs and standardsof quality. The items developed included plastic injection molds and parts, stamping,machining, electrical, paintwork tools and parts, among others.
