Murilo Sanchez Monteiro, Architect, Brazilian BIM specialist and researcher. Currently developing postgraduate master's research at the Institute of Architecture and Urbanism USP São Carlos IAU USP [2022/ - ], with work entitled "The weight of Light: from human perception to the BIM life cycle". Member of the Nomads.usp Research Group, Center for Studies on Interactive Habitations. Technical research areas in Architecture, Urbanism and Technology, with an emphasis on studies on: Design Process, BIM (Building Information Modeling), Parametric Architecture, Design, Lighting and Cybernetics.Graduated with a bachelor's degree in Architecture and Urbanism [2020] from Centro Universitário Moura Lacerda (CUML) in Ribeirão Preto/SP. Graduated from the extension course in Photography, Composition and Studio at the University of São Paulo - USP [2016] Selected for the Ibero-American mobility scholarship program at Santander Universities, for a specialization course in architecture, design and IT at the Faculty of Science and Technology at the University of Coimbra, Portugal [2019 / 2020].I have professional experience in the areas of Architecture and Urbanism with an emphasis on: development of developed projects, landscape projects, creation of interior projects, development of audiovisual content for architecture and optimization of executive projects for civil construction integrated with BIM systems. Working mainly on the following themes: Design, technology, photography, commercial and housing architecture, execution of innovative projects, technical drawing, BIM, modeling, 3D animation, visual rendering of projects, parametric architecture, landscaping and sustainability.I have extensive experience in developing and managing legal and executive improvement projects, from their conception to renovations and maintenance of their structures, as well as monitoring works. Specialized in technologies such as: BIM (revit and archicad) and CAD (autocad), 3D modeling/rendering (3Ds Max, sketchup, blender, lumion) detailed projects (illustrator and coreldraw), programming of parametric architecture projects, capable of capturing, manipulations and layouts of images and videos of photographic content (photoshop, indesign and premiere), among other programs. Founding architect of "Monte Arquitetura" in which he currently develops original projects, simultaneously participating as a designer of executive projects and 3D artist for third-party architectural offices, both in Ribeirão Preto, São Paulo.
