Project Engineer
CurrentAs a Project Engineer in the Remote Sensing Systems team, my main goal is to provide expert support to projects in the areas of applied electromagnetics, RF engineering, and electromagnetic modelling and simulation • Worked in multiple projects in areas such as satellite calibration transponder design and operation, high-power microwave devices, magnetic monitoring of underwater environments, and machine learning implementation in software-defined radios • Performed literature surveys and technology selection analyses in remote sensing and applied electromagnetics projects for organizations such as the Canadian Space Agency and the DRDC • Developed analyses, models and simulations using numerical tools (e.g., MATLAB) for feasibility studies and to demonstrate compliance to project requirements • Maintained verification planning and project requirements using DOORS • Communicated research results to clients such as DRDC, Airbus Defence and Space, and European Space Agency
