Project Engineer
Current• Prepare reports to ensure all work was done according to requirements, schedule, and budget on Upcountry. • Carry out technical scoping for new and existing Clients to strategically meet their business Objectives. • Work in collaboration with the Sales Department and strategically analyses orders from prospective customers to ensure proper prioritizing outside Lagos. • Manage customers outside Lagos and Sales Department satisfaction within project transition period. • Communicate technical site surveys and installation visits to customer and obtain access for the engineers to these locations outside Lagos. • Prepare daily work plans for field engineers outside Lagos with definite timelines and ensure they leave the office timely to meet up their deadlines • Receive and verify with the QA department survey and post installation reports prepared by the field engineers outside Lagos. • Provide timely survey and installation updates to the sales team on projects in the pipeline. • Coordinate with cross functional team members to ensure that all parties are on track with project requirements, deadlines, and schedules. • Liaise with the Procurement unit on costing/budget and actual purchase of required materials for the project department. • Manage stock of all equipment in Service Delivery Unit and keep an inventory of assigned engineer to specific equipment • Creatively, lead the team, manage challenging orders/installations, as well as difficult customers outside Lagos. • Create an inventory of all handed over links with the customer name, address, service type, link type, capacity ,activation date, IP address, MAC address, SSID and router access. • Handover new links to the customer support unit and billing department. • Establish partnerships with various organizations in the industry. • Preparing of Link budget for Link provisioning to other Operators like MTN, Airtel, Glo and 9mobile, etc.
