Ensuring the right inventory, is in the right place, at the right time as required to achieve our business plan and inventory targets, keeping inventories to $10 million (+/-) at any given timeEvaluate over 10,000 IKEA SKUs line product metrics (lead times, safety-security factors, expected/long average weekly sales, yearly sales figures, quantities on hand-QOH, sales space capacity, flex percentages, replenishment points, etc.) using Excel and IKEA database systems o Prepare weekly/monthly Logistics KPI metrics reports and charts for manager review. o Liaison between sales, logistics, transport planning, and distribution on all inventory related issues.o Support Logistics and Sales departments in meeting monthly/yearly KPIso Manage supply and demand for new product launches, line transitions, and discontinuance.o Evaluate metrics to ensure automatic replenishment from domestic distribution centers and international suppliers, without exceeding $20 million in stored inventories, or under $8 million.o Execute inventory management strategies that optimize productivity, investment, fill-rate, service levels, and profitability.o Work with US Service Office HQ to create large volume orders for business /VIP customers without affecting normal location parameters, nor deplete regional/national inventories. o Work with US Supply Support/west coast DC; flag suppliers and orders for quality issues and arrange return of merchandise for credit or reimbursement. o Coordinate with US Traffic Center/Transport Planners to accept or re-schedule deliveries o Coach supervisors, managers, and employees on how data set metrics and parameters affect the ordering and fulfillment process. o Alert supervisors to local pricing prospects, planning information, and promotion availability. o Enter live system price changes in real time, compliant with weights and measures regulations, and IKEA forecast tools.
