As I transition to become a full time higher ed. instructor my goals are to deepen resilience research of multiple placed foster youth and begin resilience research of homeless youth. As an instructor of adult learners and as a mentor for younger students, I am eager to share my many years of knowledge working with urban communities,youth, and families. I believe anyone entering the field of human services must have a deep love for community and in equal measure a true understanding of theory, policy, and application of evidence-based practices.
