As an operations coordinator for Prep Baseball, I assess day to day needs of supervisors, customers, and coworkers. Whether that is inserting stats for players profiles, managing an offsite facility, or fixing an offsite facility’s field. Helping is the easiest way to succeed in my position, as it helps the event run smoother. Communicating with staff, coaches, and players is also a big part of my position, because being able to effectively communicate the company’s needs to a coach or scout will also help run the event better.

As a Guest Experience Team Lead my job is to make sure everything is running smoothly throughout our venues, so that the manager doesn’t have to be doing everything all at once. This is a great role to give an elevated team member some more responsibility so that not all of the responsibility is all on the manager. As a Team Lead, I divide up tasks that the manager gives me amongst the team members in the facility. I make sure the tasks are completed, along with doing the tasks myself. This role is basically just a fill spot so the manager can unload some tasks off their back and trust that they’ll get done under the supervision of a team lead.
