As the Association Director of Community Health at the YMCA of Greater Boston, I lead and oversee the development and implementation of Evidence Based Health Initiatives that support the YMCA's mission of strengthening communities. I'm incredibly passionate about health equity. I have successfully managed and expanded specialty and community health programs at the YMCA of Greater Boston, reaching diverse and underserved populations and improving their health outcomes. Some of the programs I have contributed to include chronic disease prevention and management, diabetes education and prevention, senior fitness, and cancer survivorship. I have partnered with various community organizations, health care providers, and public health agencies to enhance the impact and reach of the YMCA's community health services. My core competencies include program development and management, staff supervision and training, grant writing, community outreach and engagement, and health and fitness education and coaching. I am committed to advancing the YMCA's vision of building healthy, confident, and connected communities.
