Wide ranging Contracts and Procurement management experience in both the Mining and Oil & Gas sectors. Recent roles have focused on Gold, Lithium, Salt & Sulphate of Potash and Iron Ore Mining projects in both the new Project Construction and Sustaining Capital fields and involved the full tendering, negotiating, awarding and administration of these contracts.Mining experience includes contracts management experience related to Mining Camps, Crushers, Conveyors and Belting, Tailings Dam Lifts, Demolition, Screening Plants, Electrical Substations, Major Steel Fabrication Packages and Rail Equipment. Also Mobile Equipment Contract Management including BHPBIO Mt Newman Drills Power by the Hour Contract, KCGM Superpit Faceshovel MARC Agreement and Rio Tinto Heavy Mobile Equipment (HME) Supply Agreement.Subsea experience includes contracts management experience related to Spool Fabrication Services, Chartering of Tugs, Barges, Heavy Lift Vessels and Supply Boats, Pre-commissioning Services, Large Steel Fabrication, Saturated and Air Diving Services and Major Rigging Supply.Other tasks have included:- Tender and awarding Engineering Consultancy Agreements for Geotechnical, Project Design, Environmental and Rehabilitation requirements. - Supervising and mentoring Procurement and Purchasing staff- Generating Tender Lists- Compilation of Full Tender Packages for Construction and Service Contracts and also Major Equipment / Plant Procurement- Reviewing Engineering Scopes of Work against procurement policies and standards- Evaluation of Tender Submissions- Negotiating Terms and Conditions- Conforming Contracts for Award- Reviewing Insurances and Bank Guarantees- Raising Contract Variations- Reviewing invoices - Contracts closeout.
