Reporting to the Division President providing strategic leadership in the areas of Finance, Accounting, Cost Accounting, Information Systems and Contracts. Responsibilities include development and management of the annual operating budget, capital budget, cash flow, periodic forecasting, compliance, and program control. Manage a staff of four supervisors and seven indirect reports. Partner with Division President to achieve financial and operational goals. Support senior corporate management and finance organizations. Develop and execute annual and five-year operating plan and short-term forecasts (P&L, Balance Sheet & Cash Flow).o Support and involve functional organizations in quarterly forecast and AOP process.o Report results against budget and forecast including analysis of variances. Manage all treasury and capital management activities including weekly cash forecasting. Work closely with Program Office to ensure accurate cost to completes including measurement of results against forecast and operating plan. Present financial results, forecasts, key performance indicators to division cost centers, senior and corporate management through presentations and activity reporting. Develop, implement and maintain division/department compliance process and procedures in accordance with Sarbanes-Oxley guidelines.  Focal point for quarterly and annual corporate financial and contractual internal and external audits.  Support Project/Operations Management team with Excel and system based tools to drive cost and schedule performance. Team with Director of Operations to manage inventory balances, valuation including excess and obsolete. Key player in due diligence process associated with the CPI acquisition of the division in 2007. Supported private equity acquisitions in 2011 and 2017. Leadership role on committee managing financial and operational system improvements and enhancements to existing MRP/ERP system.

Reported to the SVP of Planning. As a leader in a department of five, provides high-level centralized reporting and analysis to the two largest operational business units in the corporation, while maintaining a maximum level of accuracy, reliability and customer service. Department generates nearly 100 periodic recurring reports, ad-hoc requests and special projects in support of Merchandising and Store Operations. Manage department planning, processes and scheduling. Identify and maintain standardized internal and external reporting. Built department from scratch to current staffing levels in just over one year. Assigned as Project Manager during six month Planning based system software deployment. Developed and currently implementing vendor evaluation system. Developed an Excel based retail Dashboard and Flash Report, detailing prior day and periodic sales, cost and inventory levels to over 80 users including Guitar Center CEO. Member of team developing datamart utilizing Access and SQL based warehouses. Collaborates with cross functional teams.
