Hi to all, my name is Murray Gray and I completed a Bachelor of Science (Health, Safety and Environment) at Curtin University and am proficient in all areas of Health Safety and Environment, including risk assessment and accident investigation. Throughout my working career I have developed practical knowledge in occupational safety, health and the environment and gained a wide variety of experience in work health and safety in a number of different industries. Through my working life I have learned of ethical concerns, the importance of personal integrity and the values of team work. I have many years’ experience in the field of occupational health , safety and environment which allows me to have insight with various machinery and practices that has enhanced my observation skills, a very important factor in assessing hazards and risk management. I have developed and implemented Safety management systems that have led to improved safety and higher productivity by applying controls that help to eliminate and reduce hazards and risks in the workplace.I have experience in all forms of Environmental monitoring with water or air sampling. I am currently employed with Curtin University as a research assistant where I am collecting field data into occupational exposures to dust, vibration and chemical exposures on farms in Western Australia. I have had extensive experience with various types of monitoring equipment in both Biological and Environment fields that have included Biological and Environmental impact assessments and biological testing at Swan and Kalamunda Shires.
