The Company embraced computer data storage technology in the early 1990s, and as a consequence we were trained in computing techniques and procedures. I progressed as a Junior Patent Analyst and became a Deputy Team Leader responsible for a team up to a maximum of six. Ultimately I became a Senior Patent Analyst and trained staff in various technical disciplines such as electrical control systems, welding technology, industrial machines, domestic appliances (engineering advances) and some automotive innovations. I experienced many changes in all aspects of the working environment and was able to adapt to these and, I believe, contribute effectively to the overall success of the business in providing intellectual property information to the market place.
