Murray Hewlett, CEO of Affinity Enterprises, completed his MBA (Finance) at Charles Sturt University in New South Wales, Australia in 2008. Murray is also a doctoral candidate at the University of Liverpool. In 2004, he become Managing Director of Affinity Data, a specialist end-to-end lead generation, database management and list rental direct marketing firm. He currently still holds his position as MD. In mid-2012, Affinity Health was founded in response to an ever-growing apparent need for cost effective healthcare insurance for the South African Market. In its first year of operations under the management of Murray Affinity Health made annual turnover of 6.5 million, and made a profit of 25% in the first year of operation. Today, Affinity Health is one of the fastest growing independent health care insurance companies in South Africa, and is one of the subsidiaries of Affinity Enterprises. Murray also oversees and manages operations for its Dental, Funeral, Rescue and Motor Insurance divisions. Murray serves on the Executive Committees and Board of Directors of the Affinity Enterprises holding company. Murray lives in Northcliff Ridge in Johannesburg and is married with one daughter and two sons.
