I produced fire safety risk assessment & procedure as well as driver manuals for both commercial transport and forklift vehicles. I joined Raab Karcher in July 1996 as Depot Manager for Roof Truss manufacture responsible Profitability, Production & delivery of Roof trusses. In the course of this employment I produced driver manuals for both commercial transport and forklift, fire safety & procedure together with courses for manual handling. Raab Karcher changed name to RK Timber Scotland where I took responsibility for Yard transport Staff @ Maxwell Road as well transport responsibilities for Dumbarton depot together with the introduction of the new Quality compliance operation at the trusses. During this period I produced risk assessments covering operational areas of the site including the yard, transport, mill and treatment plant.In May 2001 following the takeover by Wolseley I became Depot Operations Manager with continued responsibility for Maxwell Road depot, Yard/transport Dumbarton transport, Day to day running of sawmill, treatment facility and associated personnel planning future development of depot @ Maxwell Rd
