Sulphuric Acid Plant Project E&I Engineer. KCC is a very large Copper and Cobalt producer in the DRC. I was the E&I Project Engineer on the expansion project to upgraded the operations to produce 300kT of plate copper and 60kT of raw cobalt per annum. My role at KCC over the four years was to manage the E&I fit out of the Whole Ore Leach and Sulphuric Acid Plants on behalf of the owners team. This includes managing the daily outcome and performance of the E&I contractors as well as consulting and liaising with the owners and EPM teams to ensure the successful and safe delivery of these two large scale green and brown field projects.

Cristal Mining Australia (Tronox) is a subsidiary of Cristal Global and Tasnee. CMA is a primary producer of Heavy Minerals mined in the far west region of NSW, Australia. I was the Project Coordinator Electrical and Instrumentation for the Cristal Mining Australia.My roll was to develop and manage the electrical and instrumentation components of all large projects for Cristal Mining Australia.Before this roll at CMA, I spent 5 years with CMA in a senior Instrumentation and Electrical roll within the maintenance department. My roll involved day to day maintenance on large control systems, the development of various maintenance administrative systems and upgrading of old electrical and control systems.

Richards Bay Minerals is a subsidiary of Rio Tinto. RBM is a primary producer of Heavy Minerals mined on the North East coast of South Africa. Duties included PLC programming and development work, normal instrument and electrical maintenance work, During my last few years at RBM I was actively involved in the development of advanced control systems. Prior to leaving RBM I managed the Mineral Separation Plant Process Control Department.
