Kia ora! I've recently completed a Master of Architecture (Professional) at Te Herenga Waka - Victoria University of Wellington. My thesis researched uptake barriers and opportunities for the deployment of hempcrete in medium-density housing construction in Aotearoa, including a participatory study on attitudes toward the material.I am currently working as a research assistant on a BRANZ-funded research project looking more broadly into barriers and drivers to fostering the uptake of bio-based construction materials in Aotearoa.I am passionate about sustainability in the built environment, particularly through the lenses of lowering carbon emissions through an accelerated uptake of low-carbon materials and adopting circular practices 🌱
